Weaver Popcorn is making a multi-year investment of more than $22 million to expand its Van Buren, Indiana-based operation.

The company says the expansion will include the development of new positions, new food processing technology, innovative packaging lines, and new production lines to allow for continued growth.

Chief Operating Officer Tim Ingle says the company is thrilled to invest in Indiana where there’s opportunity to grow for the next generation of success.

Ann Lathrop, chief strategy officer with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) says the investment helps ensure Weaver Popcorn’s long-term presence in Grant County and its positive contributions to the east central Indiana region.

The Van Buren campus has two state of the art manufacturing plants and a corn processing facility that has received more than $16 million dollars in upgrades in the last two years.
