The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) teamed up March 25-29 to sponsor a Grain Safety Week to promote safe grain handling practices in commercial facilities and on the farm.

In addition to OSHA and NGFA, participating organizations in the event included the Illinois Department of Labor, Illinois Department of Agriculture, Grain and Feed Association of Illinois, Grain Safety Handling Coalition, Grain Elevator and Processing Society, and North American Millers’ Association.
