National Farm Safety and Health Week will take place Sept. 21-25, 2026, highlighting health and safety issues across the agricultural industry as harvest activity gets underway.
The 2026 theme, “Safety Today, Success Tomorrow,” was selected by the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety and emphasizes making safety a daily priority on agricultural operations.
The most recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that fatal occupational injuries across all occupations decreased 8.12% from 2022 to 2024. However, fatal work injuries in the farming, forestry and fishing industries increased 11.21% during the same period.
AgriSafe will host 11 free educational webinars during National Farm Safety and Health Week through its AgriSafe Learning Lab. The webinars will be offered Monday through Friday and will cover equipment and rural roadway safety, health and wellness, generations of farming, confined spaces and cancer prevention.
Live Spanish interpretation will be available for all 11 webinars. Participants can register for all the webinars or select individual sessions based on their interests.
The CALM training scheduled for Tuesday has limited seating and will transition to a waitlist once capacity is reached. Continuing education opportunities for a variety of professionals will be available for all webinars.
Participants who attend at least three webinars will be eligible to receive a 2026 National Farm Safety and Health Week Champion digital badge.
