The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council (USGBC) offers a phone application that allows users to quickly convert grain data between English and metric units.
The USGBC Grains Calculator app converts measurements including bushels to metric tons, gallons to liters and square feet to square meters. It supports conversions for U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products, including distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) and ethanol.
A recent update to the app's display makes it easier to calculate large quantities while on the go. Commas and decimal points are automatically added to relevant quantities.
The app is available by searching for "USGBC Grains Calculator" in a phone's app store. It is offered in English, Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, French and Korean.
