Scott Cooperative Association will lease Scoular’s grain handling facilities in Oakley, Monument and Winona, Kansas, beginning Sept. 1, 2026, the companies announced Aug. 26.
The agreement will expand Scott Cooperative’s network northward from its existing facilities in western Kansas. The three rail-served locations will provide the cooperative with greater access to domestic and export markets.
The lease also expands the partnership between Scoular and Scott Cooperative. The companies are members of the LLC that owns facilities in Selkirk and Pence, Kansas, which are operated by Scott Cooperative.
Scott Cooperative said the expansion will support the development of new producer relationships and build on its history of serving its member-owners.
Scoular said the partnership supports opportunities in rural Kansas. The company’s Grain Division will continue working with Scott Cooperative as it assumes operations at the three facilities.
Scott Cooperative’s existing network and the newly leased facilities will give the cooperative an expanded presence across western and northwestern Kansas and strengthen its grain marketing capabilities.
