University of Nebraska to Host Agricultural Health and Safety Course for Medical and Safety Professionals

The University of Nebraska Medical Center will offer its Agricultural Health and Safety Course for Medical and Safety Professionals July 7-10, 2026.

The course provides an in-depth examination of critical health and safety issues impacting rural and agricultural workers. Designed for professionals in health care, public health, education and safety fields, the course features expert-led instruction and evidence-based content to support safe practices and improved health outcomes in agricultural settings.

The course is structured into three sessions, allowing participants the flexibility to engage in one or more topic areas:

• Session A, Agricultural Health, will be held July 7-8 and will be available both in person and via livestream.
• Session B, Agricultural Safety and Prevention, will be held July 9-10 and will be available both in person and via livestream.
• Session C, Special Topics, will run from July 7 through Aug. 7 and will be offered through online modules.
