CHS Inc. plans to close or sell its grain elevator facilities in Kasson, Ostrander and Wykoff, Minn., following the 2026 fall harvest.

The facilities will continue operating through harvest 2026 and will keep purchasing grain for delivery to local processors and river terminals. If buyers are found, the locations are expected to close after existing grain inventories are transferred, potentially in early 2027.

The move reflects ongoing shifts in grain handling and transportation, as more grain is being delivered directly to larger processing facilities and shuttle-loading terminals. The Kasson facility has approximately 3 million bushels of storage capacity, while the Ostrander and Wykoff locations have a combined capacity of about 3.2 million bushels.
