Farmward Cooperative and Ag Plus Cooperative have announced that Ag Plus members have overwhelmingly approved the proposed unification of the two organizations.
This unification brings together two member-owned cooperatives with a shared commitment to local service, cooperative values, and long-term stability. By aligning resources, expertise, and people, Farmward and Ag Plus state they are strengthening their ability to support growers, patrons, and communities across southwest Minnesota.
What This Means for Patrons
The cooperatives emphasize that patrons can expect the same trusted relationships, local service, and knowledgeable teams they rely on today. The unified cooperative will maintain its headquarters in Morgan, Minnesota. Both companies will operate independently until March 1, during which time they will be focused on integrating the two organizations. John Husk will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Farmward Cooperative, while Ag Plus CEO Josh Hilbrands will assume the role of Senior Vice President of Operations (effective March 1, 2026), ensuring continuity of leadership and operational expertise across all locations. This leadership structure is designed to maintain strong local relationships, trusted service, and a seamless experience for patrons as integration efforts move forward.
