ASABE has announced the 2026 AE50 Award winners, where the organization recognizes 50 of the year’s most innovative new products in agricultural, food, and biological systems.
One of the selected winners is Synk Bin Controls, an automation software that monitors stored grain to operate aeration fans as needed in response to sensor information. The system uses temperature and moisture sensors suspended from the bin roof, along with additional sensors at the top and bottom of the bin sidewall that measure CO₂, static pressure, temperature, and humidity, providing the data needed to support drying or cooling decisions.
“Being named an AE50 winner is meaningful because it validates practical innovation, technology that’s engineered to solve real problems in the field,” said Aaron Anderson, Commercialization Manager for Synk. “We built Synk Bin Controls to make conditioning and managing grain simpler and more efficient for farmers, while creating a modular foundation that can grow with their operation.”
AE50 award recipients are recognized as part of ASABE’s annual program highlighting new products first available during the prior calendar year. Award-winning products are featured online.
The AE50 Awards will be presented during the ASABE Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference (AETC), February 8–11, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky.
