Rolfes@Boone, a leading provider of grain quality, aeration, and temperature monitoring, and hazard monitoring solutions, in early November announced the acquisition of Tiernan Aeration Inc., a long-standing leader in aeration system design and fabrication.

Following the acquisition, the company will operate under a new name – Rolfes@Tiernan – reflecting the combined strength and shared commitment to innovation, quality, and service.

Founded in 1971 and based in Amarillo, Texas, Tiernan Aeration has manufactured high-performance aeration systems and fabricated custom sheet metal for more than 50 years.

Its expertise includes the design and manufacturing of tube-axial and centrifugal fans, galvanized ductwork, and manifold systems used across the agricultural and industrial sectors. The integration with Rolfes@Boone brings together two respected industry leaders, enhancing production capacity, product innovation, and nationwide customer support.

Setting a New Standard

“This acquisition strengthens our ability to deliver complete, American-made aeration and monitoring solutions,” says Ryan Moorman, general manager of Rolfes@Boone. “By combining Rolfes@Boone’s technology and Tiernan’s manufacturing excellence, Rolfes@Tiernan is positioned to set a new standard for quality, reliability, and service across the agricultural industry.”

Kason Scroggins, Rolfes@Tiernan regional sales manager, adds, “The recent acquisition allows Rolfes@Tiernan to grow our product line, expand our sales territories, and increase production. We will continue providing competitive world-class industrial products that are built to last.”

Rolfes@Tiernan will continue operating out of Tiernan’s existing Amarillo facility, ensuring a seamless transition for customers. The combined organization will maintain its dedication to responsive service, technical expertise, and the hard-working values both companies were built upon.
