Linear Grain Inc., a privately owned Canadian grain handling and merchandising company, is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of the Fannystelle Grain Elevator from Bunge. This strategic purchase reinforces Linear Grain’s long-standing commitment to supporting farmers across the region with efficient, locally focused services.
Located just west of Winnipeg, the Fannystelle elevator has served as a trusted delivery point for area producers for many years. With this acquisition, Linear Grain strengthens its ability to provide reliable delivery options, competitive marketing programs, and personalized service tailored to the needs of Manitoba farm families.
“We’re excited to welcome the Fannystelle elevator into the Linear Grain family and to continue serving the producers who have supported it,” said Ryan McKnight, President & Merchandising Manager of Linear Grain Inc. “This facility aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver dependable grain handling and marketing solutions while maintaining strong local relationships.”
Operations at the elevator will begin immediately, with both existing employees retained to ensure continuity of service. Linear Grain’s team will work closely with area producers to provide marketing programs and delivery options that enhance their competitiveness.
“Being located on the CPKC railway, this asset expands our marketing reach and allows us to offer even stronger programs to local producers,” added McKnight. “As a Manitoba-based company, we understand the importance of having a local presence—people who care about the community and the families behind every load of grain.”
The transaction officially closed on November 5, 2025.
