SafeGrain has announced the launch of the enhanced RadarMax, a continuous radar level monitoring sensor designed for the toughest grain storage environments.

RadarMax penetrates dust and vapor with a high-frequency radar signal, ensuring precise level measurement across all grain storage applications. Built for both performance and durability, the updated model provides expanded functionality and easier integration with existing monitoring systems.

The sensor can measure distances up to 100 feet, does not require contact to measure, and features a 10° adjustable swivel flange with optional 30° angled standpipe. The unit is dust-tight for Class II, Div. 2 hazardous locations, as well as UL-rated NEMA: 3S, 4X, 12, 13, and IP-68

RadarMax is compatible with RadarTrack PC Software, which allows remote viewing, automatic alerts, time-to-empty calculations, and graph-based reporting for improved inventory management. The unit features integrated programming and display puck for simplified setup and on-site calibration, as well as dual output support with standard 4-20mA and RS-485 Modbus RTU connections.

“RadarMax reflects SafeGrain’s ongoing commitment to providing practical, durable, and technology-driven solutions for the grain industry,” said Zach Carr, President of SafeGrain. “This new generation of RadarMax gives operators the real-time data they need, whether they’re in the field, the control room, or on their phone.”
