Omaha, Nebraska — July 14–16, 2025 — Grain industry professionals from across North America gathered in Omaha for CONVEY’25, held July 14–16. The event brought together innovators, safety leaders, engineers, operations managers, and executives representing every facet of the grain handling and processing sector.

Hosted by Grain Journal, the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS), and the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA), CONVEY is the industry’s leading event focused on grain facility operations, automation, safety, maintenance, and efficiency. CONVEY delivered a highly focused program featuring regulatory insights, hands-on demonstrations, and technology-driven solutions from more than 80 leading suppliers.

A key highlight was the in-depth workshop on OSHA’s Grain Handling Standard, 29 CFR 1910.272, which offered attendees critical updates on compliance, best practices, and incident prevention. “We continue to hear great feedback from industry members about the professionals leading these sessions for their valuable expertise across a variety of safety, regulatory, technology and operations topics.,” said Jess McCluer, senior vice president of safety and regulatory affairs at NGFA. “We are deeply grateful to the experts who volunteer their time to create a well-rounded and dynamic experience for grain handling managers and employees. We look forward to delivering more exceptional educational opportunities at CONVEY’26.”

In addition to expert-led sessions, CONVEY also facilitates peer-to-peer knowledge sharing throughout the event. “The event delivered impactful conversations on safety compliance, automation, and operational excellence, driving real progress across the grain handling and grain processing industries,” said GEAPS CEO John Caupert.

The event also served as a high-impact platform for sponsors and exhibitors to connect with engaged decision-makers in the grain sector. “This year’s CONVEY was more than a conference, it was a catalyst for industry progress,” said Glen Gudino, president of the GEAPS Media Group. “It’s rare to see this level of engagement between suppliers and operators in one room. We’re proud to provide a platform where those conversations turn into real-world results.”
