One person has after they become trapped in a Dallas County, MO grain bin.
The Southern Dallas County Fire Protection District reports they were called Monday night just before 7:30 to a grain bin near the intersection of Highway 65 and Kelly Road, about two-and-a-half miles south of Buffalo, MO.
Crews from six agencies worked for two hours to remove the entrapped person who had died from injuries sustained inside the grain bin.
The fire department says that although the outcome wasn’t the one they were hoping for, they were grateful they had the personnel, tools, and equipment needed for such a complex rescue.
No additional information has been released at this time.
