Several train cars carrying grain derailed Jan. 27 at a Norfolk Southern trainyard in Portsmouth, OH.

Eight train cars derailed and three overturned during while yarding, according to Larry Mullins, director of the Scioto County Emergency Management Agency.

The three cars that overturned were carrying soybeans each.

No injuries were reported in this derailment.

It is believed the derailment is weather-related due to the rails breaking after freezing and thawing.
