Farmward Cooperative Moves Grain Bins as Part of Elevator Construction Project

Farmward Cooperative is building a new grain elevator down the street from its old facility in Morgan, MN.

The coop, with help of Thein Structural Moving, moved a 90-foot and 78-foot Sioux Steel tank about two blocks to the site of the new elevator.

As expressed in the video above (posted to Thein Structural Moving's Facebook page in mid-August), rain and wind were challenges to moving the tanks.

Farmward Cooperative tells Grain Journal the new facility will be operational in November.
